I'm not against the character dying, but it felt like it wasn't needed in the film and it felt like the filmmakers were more interested in him dying at the end, then telling an interesting story in the third act. Some people didn’t like the ending, but I liked it imoīond died at the end and it didn't feel like it was needed at all. Missed out an important scene explaining the functions of the nanotech stuff because of them, so I was confused af why Bond couldn’t be with Madeline and his daughter at the end lmao. Had to leave the film for a bit to call theater management, because rest of the audience were getting annoyed.
007 SKYFALL 123 MOVIE
My experience for the movie at the theater sucked tho, because there were middle schoolers thinking they’re the pinnacle of comedy by squealing a TikTok meme every 30 seconds.

The best action scenes got to be the one-shot gunfights. IIRC, there was a car chase before the forest gunfight where Bond hits like two cars and that’s it. I expected something big since this is Craig’s last film, especially at the final battle, but nothing happened.

For example, the tank chase in GoldenEye, construction site parkour chase in Casino Royale, and helicopter fight at the opening in Spectre. on the other hand Daniel Craig gave a great performance, the action scenes were great and the cinematography was fantastic so there's tradeoffs each wayįor me, the thing that felt off to me from this movie was how a lot of the action scenes involved a lot more shootouts or fights in closed spaces rather than the big budget sequences the other films would typically have.
007 SKYFALL 123 PLUS
Then there were the grating side characters that I really didn't enjoy all that much, plus some weak dialogue too.įinally looking back I feel like there's a few plot holes that weren't addressed that would have allowed Bond to survive and live with his family.Įh whatever. then in this film the villain (Who is so plain that I don't even remember his name) manages to destroy that Spectre with pretty much no set up whatsoever. Especially given how Bond to Bond transitions previously didn't rely on him dying so why now?Īlso it had a pretty weak villain and I think in particular a whole film was dedicated to how dangerous Spectre was and how it has agents everywhere. I think because the ending really didn't need to be what it was, Bond didn't HAVE to die, it was just there to screw with the audience to 'subvert expectations'.
